Sunshine Adult Challenge of Florida

Final Schedule and Practice Ice Info

Description: The Sunshine Adult Challenge of Florida is the first and only Adult Only competition in the State of Florida, open to all adult skaters in both U.S. Figure Skating and ISI. Using the model of our famous fellow competition, "The Peach Classic," the Sunshine Adult Challenge wants to provide adult skaters in the US with more competition venues to perform and share, not only a great time, but a time to reinforce friendship and good sportsmanship among adult skaters.

Events will include MIF, Jumps, Spins, Compulsory Dance Solo/Standard, Original Dance, Free Dance, Pairs, and Singles: short program and freeskate, and Interpretive.
All events will be available to both the Adult Category and the Young Adult Category.
Young Adult category: Skaters must be between the ages of 18 - 24.
Adult category: Skaters must be 25 years of age or older.

This event will happen every year during: January 22-23, 2005

Sunshine Open Challenge of Florida

Description: The Sunshine Open Challenge of Florida will offer all the competitors, the opportunity to demonstrate their skating skills. For some, this competition may be an opportunity to continue the process of adjustment and polishing of their competitive programs for the rest of skating season; for others this may be their first competitive experience in the U.S. Figure Skating. We have planned this competition to offer you a fun, simple, and outstanding opportunity to compete in a safe and healthy environment, as well as to meet and make new friends.

Events will include MIF, Jumps, Spins, Compulsory Dance Solo/Standard, Original Dance, Free Dance, Pairs, and Singles: short program and freeskate, and Interpretive.

Sunshine Pair/Dance Challenge of Florida

Description: The Sunshine Pair/Dance Challenge of Florida is the first and only Pair and Dance Only competition in the State of Florida, open to all U.S. Figure Skating members. Using the model of our famous fellow competition, "Lake Placid Dance Challenge," the Sunshine Pair/Dance Challenge incorporates both the Dance and Pair disciplines to provide skaters in the US with more competition venues to perform and share, not only a great time, but a time to reinforce friendship and good sportsmanship among skaters.

Furthermore, with this competition we intend to promote both disciplines in the State of Florida.

Events will include Compulsory Dance Solo/Standard, Original Dance, Free Dance, and Pairs short program, freeskate, and Interpretive.
